In 2020, during the pandemic, Melanin felt discouraged because of things that kept seemingly going against all plans. However, after gaining perspective on divine timing and going through some of her previous demos, she released this demo mixtape on soundcloud: a compilation of her poetry, cyphers, and unreleased music she had demos of on her phone.
